Our journey began in 1990 with Var*Lite Benelux, which eventually evolved into EML Netherlands, providing a complete 360° service by 2000.

Things got even more exciting in 2011 when we joined the PRG Group, and our journey took a leap with the acquisition of XL video, a leading provider of premium multi-market video services.

Located in Utrecht, the heart of the Netherlands, PRG serves both domestic and international events. It distinguishes itself through its comprehensive services,

EML Productions was founded

1999

Procon becomes listed on the stock exchange under the name of Procon Multimedia AG

In 1999, Procon was listed on the stock exchange under the name PROCON MultiMedia AG and went on to greatly widen its business activities.

2004

VLPS Lighting Services aquired by PRG

Production Resource Group, L.L.C. (PRG) and VLPS Lighting Services International, Inc. (VLPS) announced the merger agreement, under which a newly formed subsidiary of PRG would merge with and into VLPS, with VLPS becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of PRG.

2006

Jere Harris receives Parnelli "Lifetime achievement awards"

The award recognizes pioneering, influential professionals and their contributions, honoring individuals, companies, and game-changing products.

2009

PRG aquires Procon

Procon (operated from branches in Sweden, Belgium, France, England, China and Switzerland) was acquired by PRG and integrated into the Production Resource Group.

PRG Launches BEST BOY

PRG Launches BEST BOY 40000 at LDI & Wins "Best debuting Product"

PRG aquires EML Productions

This acquisition extends PRG's European presence into new territories, including the Netherlands and Spain, as well as significantly reinforce their existing activities in Belgium.

PRG aquires Showtec

Showtec was acquired by Production Resource Group, LLC in 2011 and integrated into the German company

PRG acquires Chaos Visual Productions

Chaos Visual Productions will be joining forces with PRG

PRG aquires XL Video

XL Video was completely acquired by the Production Resource Group AG

PRG launches Ground Control

PRG launches Ground Control & wins "Product of the year" in 2016

PRG launches spaceframe

PRG launches spaceframe on U2 Joshua Tree Tour & later wins the plasa award for innovation

PRG Spaceframe wins the Plasa Award for Innovation

VER has merged into Production Resource Group in Europe and the Middle East

PRG Groundcontrol wins Emmy Award

The award is presented to an individual, company or organization for engineering developments that considerably improve existing methods or innovations that materially affect the transmission, recording and reception of television. PRG is one of five award winners of the 70th Engineering Emmy Awards.

PRG announces expansion of business to Saudi Arabia

PRG announces a multi-million dollar investment in assets and personnel at its operation in Saudi Arabia following the group’s strongest performing year in the region.
